Rodeo Bible Camps
Rodeo Bible Camps are the greatest tool for reaching “cowkids” with the Word of God. Think of a Rodeo Bible Camp as a traditional youth camp with chapel sessions, Bible studies, and devotion exercises but instead of playing field games the campers have six hours of daily rodeo event instruction. Golden Spur’s role at camps is preaching and mentoring counselors as well as helping with camp leadership. We also spend quite a bit of the winter helping tune camps and plant new camps (alongside the Rodeo Bible Camps of America).

We’ve ministered at well over 100 Rodeo Bible Camps. Our current commitments to minister at the NJHFR, NHSFR, and Kansas Junior High and High School Finals Rodeos preclude us from joining as many camps as we like each summer. This is not an exhaustive list of camps but they are the camps we have worked with in the past or where we know and trust the leadership very well. If you’ve got a question about any camp or if you are interested in helping, please contact us.
(As soon as the camps update their dates we’ll give an updated schedule. The camp’s usually hit the same time of the year for each camp so if you are planning for next year the 2017 dates will be fairly close to the 2016 dates.)
