We’re here to help you grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ!

This world throws a lot our way that can get us distracted from the life of peace that the Lord promises.  In this constantly changing world there is only one Source of stability and that is to have our foundation (or trust) built solely on the Lord and nothing else!

To help guide you in your walk with Christ here are a few steps that you should consider applying to your life:

1.     Believe in Christ for Eternal Life

“For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.”  John 3:16

Folks look to all sorts of earthly things to provide them comfort and security or to repair their past.  The truth is that you can't trust money, popularity, power (force), or even the government for your salvation.  If you trust in anything other than the Lord for your salvation it will fail!

2.    Meditate on the Word of God

Psalm 1 tells us that the blessed man’s “delight is in the Lord’s instruction, and he meditates on it day and night.  He is like a tree planted beside streams of water that bears its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.”

Engaging with the Word of God daily (or at a minimum of three times a week) has been proven to impact life in powerful ways.  As the Psalm says, the Word of God gives us a foundation to that can withstand trials and give us the strength to life for the Lord each and every day.  The thing is, we have to actually receive it (read), reflect on it (think about what it means to me), and respond to it (walk it out) to see it's blessing!

3.    Pray – Talk to Him

“Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:6-7

4.    Fellowship - Find a Church in Your Area

“Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works, not staying away from our worship meetings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other…”  Hebrews 10:23-25

I've heard it said that, "living the Christian life without church fellowship is certainly possible, but its like crossing the Atlantic Ocean in a row boat.  Possible but not likely."  In the rodeo world we often say, "you rise to the level of those around you."  If you want to win in the arena you need to get around guys who know how to win.  If you want to grow in Christ, you need to get around those who can help you grow and live the life God wants for you!  If you want to grow in your relationship with Christ, it is essential for you to get plugged in to a Bible preaching church (and when you're on the road - head to a rodeo church service or have a Bible study with other believers).  If you need help finding a local church in your area, please contact us!
